This 4-hour web-based CE course is the mandatory continuing education course for individuals with the authority to sell annuities in Pennsylvania. It will address annuity principles and concepts, annuity uses, Pennsylvania and Federal taxation, Pennsylvania sales practices including replacement, and annuity suitability best interest requirements as mandated by the Pennsylvania Insurance Department. Emphasis is placed on understanding annuity uses with a focus on promoting consumer suitability based upon Pennsylvania's revised Annuity Suitability Best Interest Standard under Act 99.
