COURSE OVERVIEW

​

This web-based course complies with Pennsylvania's 24-hour Pre-licensing Education (PE) requirement. The course is structured over a 3-day period with classes beginning each day at 8:30 a.m. (registration at 8:15 a.m.) and concluding at 5:00 p.m. Key concepts of important text material are illustrated and fully explained using over 450 PowerPoint slides. It is recommended that students register at least 30 days in advance in order to complete the pre-class readings. The 30-day time period may be compressed based upon an individual's experience level. Students who attend all three days will be issued a PE certificate based upon attendance. 

 

COURSE MATERIAL

Attendees will be shipped a study guide, printed Flash Cards, printed Focus Notes, access to Exam Master Online, a Pennsylvania Examination Candidate Information Booklet, and information on how to access the Webcast "How to Pass Your Licensing Exam." Students are encouraged to complete the pre-class review assignments prior to class.  The specially prepared Focus Notes will be presented in class to assist students on important topics and critical must know information for exam success. Attendees are strongly encouraged to attend the Webcast and complete the pre-class assignments. Special attention should be paid to any bolded or italicized phrases in your course material. Exam Master Online, which includes over 10 hours of audio PowerPoint chapter summaries of key concepts and over 900 exam-like practice questions with rationales, should be used to supplement the printed study material. Students have the option to access the course materials entirely online via a computer, or mobile devices such as iPhones, iPads or similar Android devices.

 

COURSE INSTRUCTOR

Dr. George E. Krauss, CPCU, CLU, ChFC, ARM is the instructor and the author of the Pennsylvania study guides used in these courses. In addition to the Pennsylvania study manuals, George has authored numerous books on insurance including annotated analyses of the Homeowners Policy, the Personal Auto Policy and the Dwelling Policy published by the Rough Notes Company and the Businessowners Policy published by the National Underwriter Company. George is a graduate of Robert Morris University completing his master’s and doctoral studies at The Pennsylvania State University. He has been retained in over 300 legal cases involving various aspects of agent/broker practices. To date, more than 40,000 individuals have used Dr. Krauss’s materials in passing their Pennsylvania Insurance Licensing exams.

 

REGISTRATION FEE

Course registration fee is $399. Upon payment, individuals will receive the printed study material, and access to Exam Master Online. Registration does not include the state licensing exam fee. Digital/tape recording of the course is prohibited. Class may be cancelled if attendance is insufficient (course fee minus the cost of materials will be refunded). Cancellation by the student must be in writing and received at least 7 days before class. Cancellation within 7 days prior to class is subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

GUARANTEE

​

If an attendee does not pass his or her exam, they may attend a future public scheduled class at no cost for up to one year from the date of the original class (attendee may have to purchase updated material).
